Biografia
Pulcher Femina nasce
nel 1997 ad opera di Roberto Conforti con la collaborazione
alla voce di Anna Cherichelli.
Il loro primo demo Pulcher Femina gli procura un contratto
con la Decadance Records che pubblica il loro primo
album ufficiale Fallen Angel nel 2000, questo lavoro
include materiale ri-registrato del demo e nuove canzoni.
Nella primavera del 2001 Anna decide di lasciare la
band così che tutti i testi e le musiche del
secondo album Shadows of the Lovers sono scritti da
Roberto. Questo CD è stato registrato nell’agosto
dello stesso anno a Witten in Germania nello Sonicstage
Recording Studio di Volker Lutz dei T.O.Y.
Quest’ultimo partecipa alla produzione dei brani
insieme a Roberto e remixa Scream & Die, mentre
come voce femminile compare Daniela Bruno dei Miriam.
Nel 2002 e 2003 estratti da entrambi gli album del gruppo
e tracce inedite compaiono in alcune compilation come
Electronic Dreams Vol.2 e Decadance Vol.1, e Roberto
crea un remix di No Kisses on the Mouth degli Spiritual
Front.
Dopo un anno speso nella promozione di S.T.O.L. dal
vivo, Pulcher Femina sono nuovamente in studio per la
registrazione del nuovo album che verrà pubblicato
dalla Decadance nel 2004.

Biography
Pulcher Femina was created in 1997
by Roberto Conforti. During the same year Anna Cerichelli's
voice joined and a duo was formed.Their first demo entitled
Pulcher Femina got them signed to Decadance Records
that produced the first official CD Fallen Angel, this
album included re-mastered material from the first demo
plus four previously unreleased tracks.In spring 2001
Anna Cerichelli decided to leave the band so all music
and lyrics for the second album of the band, Shadows
of the Lovers, were written by Roberto. This work was
then recorded in the following August in Witten (Germany)
at Sonicstage Recordings Studios by Volker Lutz (Evil's
Toy). The latter is, together with Roberto, the producer
of the new record and remixer of a track Scream &
Die, while Daniela Bruno (from Miriam) is the band new
female voice. In 2002 and 2003 excerpts from both the
band albums and some unreleased tracks are featured
in several compilations like Electronic Dreams Vol.2
and Decadance Vol.1, and the band remixes Spiritual
Front’s No Kisses on the Mouth. After a year spent
promoting Shadows of the Lovers live, Pucher Femina
are now back in studio recording a new album which will
be released by Decadance Records in 2004.
