Biografia
Dorcha è un progetto di musica dark in lingua italiana
nato nel 1995 da un'intuizione di Stefano Gagliardo,
compositore, cantante e chitarrista milanese. Dorcha
non è altro che la traduzione in antica lingua
gaelica di "buio".
Il repertorio è composto da oltre 100 brani originali,
uniti a numerose covers dei Cure. Il tema conduttore
è la sofferenza trasposta in testi e musica,
vista l'incapacità dell'autore di comunicare
temi tanto intimistici e laceranti in altra forma.

Biography
Dorcha.
This Italian Dark project was born in Milan
in the year 1995 by the idea of Stefano Gagliardo, song-writer,
singer and guitar player.
Dorcha is an ancient Gaelic word and means “darkness”.
Through these years, Dorcha has composed up to 100 songs
and has interpreted several Cure covers. The bounding
theme of his production is sorrow, which, as the author
explains, constantly emerges by tunes and lyrics being
them the only way he knows to express his pain.

Italy
